Teacher Spotlight: Building Confidence and Culture at Horizon Junior High
Meet one of Horizon Junior High’s inspiring educators—a math teacher and cheer coach who is excited to be part of the beginning! Drawn by the unique opportunity to help shape the culture of a brand-new school, she’s been instrumental in laying the foundation for both strong academics and vibrant school spirit.
“Creating meaningful experiences—whether in the classroom or on the cheer team. I love guiding students to see themselves as capable mathematicians and confident individuals.”
Her passion for teaching shines through in everything she does. She stays motivated by constantly seeking innovative ways to help students succeed, focusing on building relationships, fostering leadership and supporting a healthy classroom and team culture.
“The best part of my job is watching students grow in confidence—whether it’s solving a tough math problem or stepping out of their comfort zone in front of a crowd.”
We’re lucky to have such a dedicated and dynamic educator helping to shape the future of Horizon Junior High! Go Ducks!
