🤖 What a fantastic day for Doxey Elementary's VEX IQ Robotics teams! We're incredibly proud of our young engineers who competed across two different tournaments today! Two of our teams represented Doxey at the Girl Powered Tournament, where Team C brought home 1st place in the elementary division and secured an impressive 3rd place overall! 🏆 Meanwhile, our other three teams showed amazing determination at the Superbowl Tournament. Through ups and downs, they demonstrated true perseverance and teamwork. Special shoutout to Team D for earning the prestigious Judges Award! 👏 These achievements showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our Doxey robotics students. 🚀 Blast Off: 5th Grade STARBASE Adventure Begins at Hill Air Force Base! Yesterday, our young Dragons launched into an incredible STEM journey at their first STARBASE session! Held at Hill Air Force Base, this amazing program combines real-world science with the excitement of aerospace. From hands-on experiments to engineering challenges, our 5th graders spent their day exploring the exciting worlds of science, technology, and innovation in a state-of-the-art facility. There's nothing like learning STEM surrounded by actual aircraft and aerospace technology! This was just day one of their amazing adventure - wait until you see what else they'll discover in the coming weeks! The excitement and curiosity on their faces said it all.
